Chicken Barbeque Next in Public Supper Series at St. David's Episcopal Church
Fantastic food and fellowship will be hot off the grill and open to the public at an event hosted by the Vestry of St. David's Episcopal Church


KENNEBUNK, MD July 28, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- St. David's Episcopal Church will host a mid-summer chicken barbeque on Friday, August 14 at St. David's Episcopal Church on Route 1 at 6 p.m. This event is the third in a series of special suppers hosted by the church.

The Vestry of St. David's welcomes people of all ages and denominations to an evening of great home-cooked food at an affordable price prepared by members of the Vestry. The menu will be sizzling with grilled chicken, potato salad, garden salad, pasta salad, watermelon and home-made pies. Adults are $10 and children are $5.

"It wouldn't be summer without a classic barbeque! Our supper series has been a great hit not only with members of our own community, but also new tourist friends! Our welcome mat is out and the table is set for anyone interested in fun, affordable evening out where you don't have to worry about cooking dinner!" said Edmund Bellegarde, a member of St. David's Vestry, who is the series organizer.

As part of the supper series St. David's will also host a spaghetti dinner Saturday, September 12 and their marquee event of a "Prelude to a Celtic Christmas" which will be part of the Kennebunk area's Christmas Prelude Festival in December.
