Education and Demonstrations Bring Hispanic Trends and Flavors to 2010 Expo Comida Latina Trade Show
Expo Comida Latina, the North American Hispanic food and beverage trade show, will feature educational sessions and culinary demonstrations that will enhance the event with rich content for attendees and exhibitors.

PORTLAND, ME, June 24, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Expo Comida Latina 2010, the trade show for the North American Hispanic food and beverage industry, will feature a variety of educational sessions and culinary demonstrations that will enhance the event with rich content for attendees and exhibitors alike. The education and demonstrations are designed so visitors will walk away with actionable ideas and strategies to put into place in their restaurants, markets, and other businesses.

The variety of flavors at Expo Comida Latina will be showcased through the culinary demonstrations from some of the industry's hottest chefs from Los Angeles and beyond. Companies exhibiting at the event represent authentic, gourmet, specialty and every day Hispanic foods and beverages. As the chefs prepare dishes ranging from classic to trendy, and traditional to Latin-fusion attendees will get ideas, tips and techniques for their menus and store shelves.

Education sessions throughout the three-day event will cover topics ranging from the latest in Hispanic consumer market trends to brand-building through social media. These sessions will provide attendees and exhibiting companies with strategies and insights needed to stay on top of the growing Hispanic consumer market.

Expo Comida Latina is North America's only trade event focused on bringing authentic, specialty, gourmet and mainstream products from around the globe to retail and foodservice buyers looking to meet the demands of today's Hispanic American U.S. population. With more than 70% of US households buying authentic ethnic food and beverage products today, and Hispanic buying power in the U.S. expected to reach the $1.5 trillion mark in the next decade, Hispanic, specialty, and mainstream food retailers and are in search of products to serve the population growth and mainstream flavor trends (Source: Packaged Facts, 2009 and US Census Bureau).

The 2010 event will take place over three days, August 14-16, at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California, USA. Following a successful co-location in 2009, Expo Comida Latina will once-again be held alongside the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo - the only comprehensive event devoted to the Western U.S. restaurant, foodservice and hospitality market.

Registration for attendees and press available online. Registration for qualified members of the press is complementary.
