Boston String Quartet to Perform "Christmas in Buenos Aires" at St. David's Episcopal Church December 18, 2010
Spice up the holidays with this musical program of original Christmas compositions in Argentine style

KENNEBUNK, ME, November 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Boston String Quartet, a creative leader in contemporary classical music in New England, will perform their new holiday program "Christmas in Buenos Aires" on Saturday, December 18 at St. David's Episcopal Church on Route 1 at 7 p.m.

The Boston String Quartet, known for their unique sound and contemporary playing techniques, has collaborated with famous performers such as John Mayer and the Boston Ballet and has been critically acclaimed in the Boston Globe. Their eclectic holiday program will feature a stylistic toe-tapping mix of tango, salsa, rumba, and other Latin dances. Music will range from flamenco writings of award-winning composer Mauricio Yazigi, to contemporary jazz classics by former Turtle Island String Quartet member Danny Seidenberg, to a new arrangement of "Bohemian Rhapsody."
